Very waterproof, durable, canvas-like material. Sizing is excellent too, I ordered 3xl. Used it to hike on and around Mt Ruapehu. Looks like it is made to last.
This jacket is brilliant. It definitely lives up to the advertisement of being tough.
It handled blackberry, gorse, scrub cutting, and tree felling without any damage. Might take some getting use to if you like flexible jackets as this one is tough.
Also, it is warm. Coupled with HE fleece flood underneath, I worked in below zero temperatures doing a night shift on the hills. Those hand warmer pockets save the hands from going numb. And not one drop of water has got in yet and I was caught out in a storm.
It’s got good length on the cape and cuffs. I’m almost 2m tall and have a large and it fits good.

Compare the armpit to armpit measurement of your best fitting jacket to find your ideal size.

1 YEAR WARRANTY
If within one year your Hunters Element product is found to have a manufacturer fault in any way, we will repair or replace it for free!
LIFETIME EXTENDED WARRANTY
We are so confident in the quality of our gear that if at any point in its life your Hunters Element kit gets damaged, we'll sort you out. If you've torn it on an antler, punctured it with a thorn or crushed a zip between rocks, we'll repair it (if we can) for a small fee. SIZING RETURNS & OTHER:
For online orders where you would like to change the size of one or more products, please contact us first. Once you have filled in a return request and we receive the product back (still in new brand-new condition with the swing tags included), we will issue with a store credit to the same value. You can then purchase the new size and it will be sent out as normal. Please expect delays with dispatching size exchanges during peak seasons and sale periods.
For a successful return request please attach a photo of the product showing the defect, or for size swaps, show the product in new condition with the tags on and a description to match.

WARRANTY ISSUES:
Returns for manufacturer defects will be accepted. Please use our Contact Us page to notify us of the issue, including pics and proof of purchase.
INCORRECT MERCHANDISE:

All items purchased on SALE (discounted price) are final. Some products may be exchanged if there are replacement sizes available, but this is at the full discretion of Hunters Element Staff. Staff hold the right to refuse exchanges or returns.
