Your winter layering system requires the standard three layers, but in a lot of situations you'll need to add a fourth. This winter layering system will see you right from morning to night, so you can explore further and hunt longer.
BASE LAYER
Your base layer should be light; the high wicking Core+ series is perfect for those winter days. Core+ is designed for the coldest conditions and uses Thermal GridTech™ body mapped technology designed to retain maximum heat and rapidly disperse moisture to the outer surface. It is athletically shaped, so the high wicking fabric can sit tight to the body in order to absorb and disperse as much sweat as possible.

If you’re up in the mountains or anywhere cold, you’ll need an insulation layer: something warm, windproof, and built to retain heat. The Acclimate Hood provides active insulation while staying light and compact, making it ideal for layering. For even colder conditions, go for the Forge Jacket or the Sleet Jacket. Sleet is a waterproof puffer jacket made tough and light! It uses HYDRAFUSE™ Techlite membrane and outer layer, a premium raincoat outer shell, with a 100gm Primaloft Gold main body insulation and 80gm sleeve insulation.
