The Storm Jacket 2025 offers the ultra-light full zip option for extreme weather. Designed as a super packable option for when the weather takes an unexpected turn or for use when things cool down or get wet. The Storm Jacket packs down incredibly small and weighs next to nothing, so you will barely notice it's sitting in the bottom of your pack. But when it's needed, it's extremely waterproof and breathable, just like your traditionally heavier and bulkier work-horse rain layer. Unlike a lot of backup style rainwear, the Storm jacket was designed with all the important features you still need, including a longer cut, athletic fit, multiple pockets, sculpted hood, and more. The jacket packs down tiny into its own pocket when not in use so it can disappear into the bottom of your pack.

Orders are delivered within 2–5 working days of dispatch in off-peak periods. During peak periods, such as Christmas and sale events, dispatch may take longer. During major sale events, please allow an extra 4–5 working days for dispatch.
We use trusted New Zealand couriers, including NZ Post/ Courier Post and Post Haste.

WARRANTIES
These policies don't affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
1. 1 YEAR WARRANTY
If your Hunters Element product has a manufacturer's fault within one year of purchase, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, which may give you a repair, replacement, or refund beyond one year depending on the product and the fault.
2. WARRANTY ISSUES
If your product has a manufacturer defect, please contact us with photos of the fault and your order number or proof of purchase.
3. LIFETIME EXTENDED WARRANTY
We know hunting is tough on gear. If your kit gets damaged, we'll help sort it out. If it's torn or punctured, we'll repair it where we can for a small fee, with more complex repairs costing a little more. To keep your gear in top shape, see our Product Care Guide.

If you've ordered online and need a different size, you can return your item through our returns portal. Items must be in brand-new condition with swing tags attached. We'll process your refund or exchange once we receive your item. Please allow extra time during peak and sale periods. We reserve the right to refuse exchanges or returns that don't meet these conditions. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
6. MYSTERY BUNDLES
Mystery bundles are final sale and can't be returned for change of mind or sizing, so please order your usual size. This doesn’t affect your rights if an item is faulty.

Big fan of lightweight gear, but only if it does what it says on the tin. This one does that and more! This jacket out performs a lot of the Gore jackets I've owned over the years. And it weighs bugger all. I love how small it packs down too. So good that it permanently lives in my pack for when the conditions change.

Purchased a large size as I have with several other items. The fit in the arms and shoulders is way too small to be layering over anything other than an tshirt. I haven’t decided whether to return for an XL or potentially give it to my 15yo son although at 175cm it’s quite long in the torso for him

Our daughter used one for her Duke of Edinburgh tramp in the Ruahines.
It worked perfectly on the tops where it was blowing a gale with the odd showers as well.
