The Apex are made in New Zealand from our cutting-edge blend powered by Nuyarn® Merino. Nuyarn® offers moisture management, odour control and softness. The Nuyarn® is knitted on the inside so you get the full benefit of this performance fibre against your skin.
The Apex design is shaped to the contours of your lower leg, ankle and foot. This means the sock locks in place with minimal bunching and movement, resulting in maximum comfort and greatly reduced room for blistering. The foot-mapped design places increased padding in the high-contact areas and thinner weaves in between for maximum contour and breathability.
You simply shouldn't put cheap tube socks on one of the most important parts of your body in the mountains. High-quality socks make a world of difference on hard-working feet, and the Apex are the top of the game.

1 YEAR WARRANTY
If within one year your Hunters Element product is found to have a manufacturer fault in any way, we will repair or replace it for free!
LIFETIME EXTENDED WARRANTY
We are so confident in the quality of our gear that if at any point in its life your Hunters Element kit gets damaged, we'll sort you out. If you've torn it on an antler, punctured it with a thorn or crushed a zip between rocks, we'll repair it (if we can) for a small fee. Some jobs are easier than others though, so you should check out our Product Care Guide to get the best life out of your gear.
SIZING RETURNS & OTHER:
For online orders where you would like to change the size of one or more products, please contact us first. Once you have filled in a return request and we receive the product back (still in new brand-new condition with the swing tags included), we will issue with a store credit to the same value. You can then purchase the new size and it will be sent out as normal. Please expect delays with dispatching size exchanges during peak seasons and sale periods.
For a successful return request please attach a photo of the product showing the defect, or for size swaps, show the product in new condition with the tags on and a description to match.

Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded for returns or repairs unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order.
WARRANTY ISSUES:
Returns for manufacturer defects will be accepted. Please use our Contact Us page to notify us of the issue, including pics and proof of purchase.

All items purchased on SALE (discounted price) are final. Some products may be exchanged if there are replacement sizes available, but this is at the full discretion of Hunters Element Staff. Staff hold the right to refuse exchanges or returns.
Nuyarn® utilises a never-before-seen spinning technology that doesn't twist the benefits out of wool. This blend of Merino wool along a Nylon core filament is hailed as "the world's first performance wool".
The 2ply yarn adds more loft and aeration, leaving you with socks that are quick drying, moisture wicking, odour-resistant and have excellent temperature control.
Above all, this Nuyarn® blend is extremely durable thanks to its Nylon core, resulting in high resistance to abrasion and stronger seams.
Nuyarn® drafts Merino wool fibres along a high-performance Nylon core, creating a structure that enhances wool's natural properties, yet remains extremely strong.
Ring spun and traditional core spun have less volume and 1-ply construction. Ring spun has a 1/80 Nm (unit of Torque), and core spun 1/50 Nm. Nuyarn® is high in volume, with a 2-ply construction and a 2/166 Nm.
Nuyarn® lasts 8.8x longer than conventional Merino. Its Nylon core provides exceptional durability, meaning they'll last hunt after hunt, and are more sustainable in the long run.
Its incredible loft and aeration make it 53% more air-resistant, and its twist-free technology gives it 50% greater burst strength (so the seam at the toe will last for the long haul).
Compared to conventional Merino, it has 85% more elasticity, providing comfort on long hunts without movement or bunching, and finally, it uses 30% less raw materials and 25% less energy.*

All sizes are US men's sizing. Measure from the from the back of your heel to the end of your longest toe.
We recommend getting a size larger than your normal sneaker shoe size - the extra room will help avoid toe pain when sidling down steep terrain.
